  • What is your payment policy?

    We will collect 25% of your reservation fee at the time of reservation and the final payment will be processed automatically around 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you book one of our properties and the arrival date is inside 30 days, we will collect payment in full at the time of the reservation.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    All cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing visit@carolina-destinations.com Cancellations made at least forty five days (45) prior to arrival date are entitled to a full refund, less a $100 Administrative fee. Cancellations made less than forty five (45) days prior to Tenant’s arrival date are not entitled to any refund outside of the cleaning fee and, if applicable, damage waiver fee. For any cancellation, in the event that Tenant does not receive a full refund, Tenant MAY be entitled to an additional refund of Tenant’s nightly reservation amount in the event Agent is able to re-rent the property to a different tenant. The amount of Tenant’s nightly reservation refund will be equal to the replacement tenant’s nightly reservation amount.Clarification: For any reservation where a guest cancels and forfeits some or all of their room rate, we will process a refund back if we are able to re-rent the property another guest. The amount of this refund will vary depending on the replacement reservation.

  • Are your properties pet friendly?

    We do note each property if they are pet friendly or not. Any pet friendly property will include a non-refundable pet fee. Any property that is not pet friendly and we identify a pet was at the property during our post check out inspection will incur a $500 fee. Service animals are always welcome!

  • Why do you require a lease and copy of our driver's license?

    As a licensed Real Estate Firm in North Carolina, we require all of our tenants to sign a lease and provide a copy of their driver's license to confirm identify as almost all reservations occur without any live interaction. The lease also helps confirm expectations for both parties prior to your stay.

  • What are your general rental policies?

    All of our Tenants will need to sign a lease which will provide greater details on expectations. At a summary level, our core policies are all primary tenants must be at least 30 years of age (unless exception approved in writing), no weddings or large events are permitted, and no loud music or activity that would disrupt neighbors enjoyment of their properties.

  • How will I access the property on our day of arrival?

    Roughly 3 to 7 days prior to your arrival date, you will receive a welcome email that contains all of the logistical details you should need for your stay including address, key pad location and code and other house specific details. You will not need to coordinate an arrival time or meet us in person - you'll be able to arrive at your convenience after the applicable check-in time.

  • Will there be any cameras at your property?

    There will absolutely no cameras inside the home. Some of our properties do have exterior or ring cameras and if that is the case, that will be disclosed in the applicable lease agreement. The cameras are meant for security purposes during potential times of vacancy.
